Legal Notice, Shipping, Returns, and Liability Policy

By purchasing from The Fur Den, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are intended to clearly explain our responsibilities, your responsibilities as a customer, and the limits of our liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, images, sizing, colors, materials, and pricing accurately. However, slight variations in color, size, packaging, labeling, or appearance may occur due to screen settings, supplier updates, manufacturing differences, or product availability.

The Fur Den does not guarantee that every product image will exactly match the item received. However, if you receive the wrong item, a defective item, or an item that is materially different from what was ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can review the issue.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times shown on our website are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing. Delivery times may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, customs processing, incorrect addresses, supplier delays, or other events outside our control.

Once an order is transferred to the shipping carrier, The Fur Den is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. However, we will make reasonable efforts to help customers resolve shipping issues.

If an order cannot be shipped within the stated time frame, or within the legally required time frame where applicable, we may contact you with an updated shipping estimate and, where required by law, provide the option to cancel the order for a refund.

Lost, Stolen, or Failed Deliveries

The Fur Den is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the shipping carrier but later reported as lost, stolen, missing, or misplaced. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs before the order is reshipped.

For missing packages, customers should first contact the shipping carrier. We may assist with carrier claims when possible, but we do not guarantee replacement or refund for packages confirmed as delivered.

Damaged or Broken Products

Customers must inspect their order upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, broken, defective, or unusable, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging.

We may, at our discretion, offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or other resolution depending on the circumstances. We reserve the right to deny claims that are incomplete, submitted late, unsupported by evidence, or caused by misuse, improper handling, normal wear and tear, pet damage, or customer negligence.

Returns and Refunds

Returns may be accepted only for eligible items that are unused, clean, unopened where applicable, and returned in their original packaging. Certain items may be final sale for hygiene, safety, or customization reasons, including but not limited to pet grooming items, consumable products, personalized products, clearance items, and items marked final sale.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error, a defective item, or another issue where applicable law requires otherwise.

Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method or as store credit. Original shipping fees may be non-refundable unless required by law.

Pet Use and Safety

Products sold by The Fur Den are intended for normal pet use only. Customers are responsible for selecting products appropriate for their pet’s size, breed, age, behavior, chewing habits, allergies, and health condition.

The Fur Den is not responsible for injury, illness, choking, allergic reaction, property damage, or other harm resulting from improper product selection, misuse, lack of supervision, normal wear, pet behavior, or failure to follow product instructions.

Always supervise pets when using toys, beds, collars, leashes, feeding products, grooming items, or accessories. Discontinue use immediately if a product becomes damaged, worn, loose, or unsafe.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Fur Den shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost savings, loss of use, emotional distress, pet injury, property damage, delivery delays, or third-party carrier issues.

Our maximum liability for any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.

Third-Party Suppliers and Carriers

Some products may be fulfilled by third-party suppliers, warehouses, manufacturers, or shipping carriers. The Fur Den is not responsible for delays, errors, packaging changes, or service failures caused by third parties, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
